"Horses have a huge capacity for accepting the here and now. When a horse is basking in the warm sun on a cool day, she is not lamenting the fact that every day is not like this. She is simply experiencing the moment, standing in what is.
When the rains roll in and the wind kicks up she does not practice gratitude for the previous warm sun in hopes that it will bring it back. She does not try to manifest a sunny day or put on a ‘happy face’ in order to get through the storm. She does what she can to make herself comfortable. ...."
